Welcome to
PolarExpo 2024
Catching and hunting have been the livelihoods of Greenlanders for generations, and in recent times fishing has become the most important profession in Greenland. Today there are about 2,030 people engaged in catching and hunting, while just over 3,750 have recreational hunting certificates.
At PolarExpo you are welcomed by exhibitors from Greenland, Iceland, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Sweden and China, who all present news in the fields of catching and hunting. PolarExpo is based on the PolarFish-exhibitions, which for many years have been held every second year and where the target group has been the fishing industry mainly. Now the fair has been moved to new and larger halls, which has allowed the focus to be aimed on hunting as well.
PolarExpo is the largest exhibition of its kind in Greenland. The exhibition attracts both exhibitors and visitors from all over Greenland and abroad. At the exhibition there will also be the opportunity to follow several relevant lectures and seminars that will keep you updated on everything related to catching and hunting in your area.
